Putin knows this and he's going to push the situation as hard as he can - after all, the NATO missile defence shield along Russia's border sparked a new aggression in US-Russia politics. I think a <i>Cuban missile crisis II</i> will certainly be on the cards should space tech start being developed... just when we thought the Space Race was over, it might only just be beginning...
