The State of the Wave

Published by

The State of the Wave appears 1 – 2 times per month and is our review of events and trends from around the world. It summarizes specific progress toward the opening of the 2015 Maslow Window and movement toward real, near-term space colonization, and is used to evaluate the forecasts especially in the context of the 10 Wave Guides..

    Bruce,

It is now December 2015 and no Space related Maslow Window yet. I know that you have said recently that it appears as if things have now slipped to a 2017 start (and probably going through 2027 as a result), and a new Presidential Administration in the U.S. Here is my question. There has been extensive discussion over the last couple of years that we may see another Global Financial Crisis and Great Recession starting in 2016 or even more likely starting in 2017. There may be extensive Geo-political turmoil in 2017 as well. Would a projected Maslow Window opening in 2017 be consistent with such Global Financial, Economic and Geo-political turmoil in 2017? Could a slightly delayed Maslow Window actually open when both the Global and U.S. Economy is in crisis, albeit perhaps at the tail end of one. Same question applies to 2020 should the Mega turmoil somehow be delayed until then as the 56 year energy cycle is actually stretched by up to ~5 years.

    Thank You,
    Kenneth Harmon

    Hi Kenneth,
Couldn’t disagree more! In fact we’ve recently entered the new Maslow Window. I’ll elaborate the data and trends very soon.

    Hi Bruce,

It is now almost June 2016. I will be very interested to see your update, perhaps just after the November 2016 Election in the November 2016-January 2017 time-frame. Although we have entered the new Maslow Window, how would this square with a major Global Economic downturn in 2017? Could it be reconciled should one occur, and how long do you think our current Maslow Window, especially for Space will now extend since we may be a little slow to ramp up? Does a year for year slip simply extend the Maslow Window from a projected ~2028 end date (unless cut short by the war window), or could it now extend all the way into the early 2030’s perhaps? I have been waiting many years for 2017 to arrive to see if we have actually entered the Maslow Window. Like you I can feel it, but I also believe we have one more follow through Global Economic downturn from the 2007-2009 Financial Crisis left to come. We are not quite done yet, and from everything I have read by Martin Armstrong, Larry Edelson, Charles Nenner, Jim Rogers, etc, etc, etc also see a final great crash coming along with a major peak in the War Cycle from 2017-2024. Bottom line, this Maslow Window could sadly be highly volatile and war driven especially over the next ~8 years as a military competition (just like in the 1960’s) drives various Global Space efforts. I do believe we will see Humans on Phobos by the late 2020’s.

    Ken
